Watts Bar lake is being dropped to it's winter level and the fun is starting. All of those swimming areas need to be hit hard. The heavy rain we've had sure has slowed that down but I did find a nice little 10K ring with a black onyx set in it. I got to hunt about 2 hours before the rain hit. I found quite a bit of change too but I haven't checked the black coins to see if any are silver. I wasn't wearing my new bifocals because I haven't quite gotten used to them..... Still getting a cheap drunk, lol. I also found a bunch of lead sinkers and a few spinner baits and more pull tabs than I care to dig. In a 20 foot long strip I found 2 credit cards, an insurance card, a check book with unused checks in it, 2 prescription bottles and several other things with names on them and they were from 4 different people. I called Roane County Sheriff's office and a deputy came out to collect the evidence. He said thanks for calling and maybe they could figure out who stole one persons stuff and charge them with the other ones too. Here's a few pics of the ring. Nice unique gold ring, congrats! I also went to a partially drained lake today but they had let it fill up again so I went to a new field. So do you think those items reported to the police are stolen and dumped or just maybe lost? HH, Mike
