Ever since James (and sons) provided us with that great spreadsheet, I can watch my silver ounces grow with every revision. Holy cow, I didn't realize just how bad October was!

October - I started the spreadsheet on October 5 with 142.682 troy ounces, and I ended the month with a measly 149.8645 troy ounces. That's bad no matter which way you slice it!

November - November on the other hand was a pretty great month. I started with the 149.8645 and ended with 173.8622 troy ounces! The 40% halves were flowing very steady - went from 552 to 681. Only thing that ruined November was the quiet Thanksgiving week, which barely yielded an ounce with increased hunting. I supplemented my normal seven half dollar boxes with two dime boxes, one nickel box (two buffs, no silver), one $200 nickel bag (one buff, no silver), one $1000 quarter bag (skunk), and one $1000 half dollar bag (skunk). ROUGH!

Well, hopefully that slow week doesn't carry over to December as I am going to push hard to get 200 ounces by year's end.

How were your last two months? Are you on pace to reach your 2013 goals?

I'd take your slow October - it would be the most silver I've ever seen in a month! :)

I've pulled 8.9oz since the week of 9/8 when I started keeping track.

One thing the spreadsheet doesn't currently give a picture of is how much volume/effort goes in to generating those totals. I'm sure your slow October involved more volume than I've done in a 3 month period. Being able to see how much work went in to those ounces would be a nice thing to track as well - I'll try to find a way to do that and update the spreadsheet when I get around to it.

My new goal, starting in December and for 2014, is 8oz a month: specifically 2oz in dimes, 1oz in nickels, and 5oz or more in halves.

That's like playing a video game which tracks the total amount of time you've played. It's a depressing statistic. Just enjoy the pursuit and the fruits of your pursuit and don't look back!

My thoughts exact- I'm glad others are stacking fast and high- wish my finds were half as good- but ill take what I can at facevalue and add with purchases

Last 2 months have been horrendous. Not exactly sure but I am somewhere around 2 40% ers in the last 50+ boxes (1 was an ender that got my hopes up for that box... damn!). Skunksville seems never ending!
