One of the very few Merseybeat-bands with female members and probably the first "girlgroup" of all time: "The Liverbirds" from, surely, Liverpool! The band took their name from the fictional creature 'Liver Bird' which is the symbol of the town of Liverpool. Like other beat bands of that time









liverbirds was (is) the first girls guitar band in this world
