The most valuable artifacts I've ever seen in person. Hook Bannerstones
A man named Rick Brumfield found these back in the 70's. Both were found on the very same day. I was fortunate enough to get to take some photos of them. He told me that as far as he is aware of, I am the only person who has a photo of a light being held up to it to show its translucency. My friend William actually got to hold them both (as in the picture). You can see them sitting side-by-side in the display case on the top shelf.
I have heard from good sources that he has gotten offers of over $250,000 on the one with the light shining through and he turned them down. There is easily $500,000 in the pair. I am on a quest to find one of my own! They occur in a very small area of the Ohio River Valley. I'm sitting smack in the very center of their range. My hopes are not high though lol. They are extremely rare.
