The Musket Ball

The Musket ball was funny rolling off the little pile of dirt, but, now it led me to a hot spot-- My ACE 250 was crying out like a cop going to a robbery. Found 1 coin, which is soaking, and going back for more tomorrow when the sun is shining. woohoo

You have found something that is one of my favorite things to find. They were from a time when one's ability to shoot straight could determine whether one lived or died...either from starvation or return fire. Hope the coin cleans up well for you.

Thank You --I loved finding it -- and I did find a Hot spot of coins detector was going nuts-- so I going to see what this coin is after cleaning --it was in area of musket ball. AND yes --I love the relics

The first bullet I found was a musket ball (with my 250). I kept looking and found 9 Minie balls and a wooden sided pocket knife (under a tree) within 15'. Keep digging!
