The Old Farm . . . again.

I've been given the unique opportunity to detect on the former site of several old Farms. I've only scratched the surface of one of them and have some pretty cool finds. Here they are if you haven't already seen them in the Daily Finds Forum. This is going to be a great Year .

No farms left here. I have to go threw books on old house sites to see where the farms were. If I'm lucky I can still find a lot of land left in one good area. I found this one area that had a old shed site. Found Buttons ,thimble, scale and horse shoes. I hung them on my barn. I found one horse shoe that was totally round. I never know they had round horse shoes. It looks like this shed was their for supply's so that the owner didn't have to take the wagon home say if something broke. I like the trains. Olds toys can be worth $$$

I use Historicaerials.com . It gives you a pretty good lay of the land from back in the day.
