Remember just months ago how the online pundits were saying that when India's "new" government comes to power they will lower the taxes on gold and the gold price will go through the roof? Well, looks like it won't happen that way.
Apparently India needs to protect its currency as much as we do here, thus they will not do anything that will make gold preferable to a fiat currency.
Looks like they might consider it later. Keep your fingers crossed. LOL!
