Went out to the beach this evening to see what I might found.
After an hour, only recovered a few dimes, pennies and quarters. No rings, no jewelry.
But I did find a black lace garter.
That garter was definitely the most interesting thing I found on the beach this week - not much else except pull tabs and bottle caps.
I did leave the garter where I found it, thinking that perhaps the owner might come back later looking for it.
I can't (or don't want to) imagine how a black lace garter might have ended up right in front of the wall of windows overlooking the beach at Sharkeys restaurant.
Maybe there was some unscheduled entertainment last night . . .
