I found this torso, head, and arm of a fair maiden in the yard of my 1900 home. From top of the head to where it is broken is 2.5-3 inches. She holds some unknown object and has fancy, older styled clothing and hair. She also wears some sort of necklace. Her expression is pleasant, and her arms would have been resting on something, such as a fence. She has another arm that was cracked long ago and fell off during cleaning. These pictures were taken with my brand new digital camera, which I am excited about. I hope everyone had happy holidays and I wish for many more to come.

Any help is appreciated,

HH

Re: The Lead Lady **UPDATED WITH PICTURES - ALL THE RIGHT SIZE**

Very nice Find!,
It may be a copy of a known sculpture. :icon_scratch:
I wonder what she was/is holding?
Maybe someone will recognize this 'Lead Lady'
Thanks for posting!

a way to re size those photos on your camera is to turn the mega pixels down before you take the picture. for instance on my 12 mega pixels i can go below 1 mega pixel to VGA and it sizes the photo perfectly with no cropping or resizing necessary

looks to be a cheap spelter or lead-alloy mix of an ornament from the 1920s (give or take 10 years), I've found similar items in a '20s dump site.
