Well, thank you to everyone who wished me luck on my first hard core (well, kind of) hunt, I went to 2 different rivers, spent Saturday at one, Sunday at the other, found some pennies..& shot gun shells, got dehydrated (from drinking the night b4 lol), just knew I was gonna hit the jackpot...almost got stuck in the sand.....pissed & moaned everytime I dug up a beer can, kids threw sand @ me, was over dressed got up to 91 degrees..hotter than hell....but BY GOSH....Sunday night, went to a little sand park...& found me a metal ..PINK..cap gun....I'll post a picture

Well at least you got out and found a few things. Just keep at it and you will start finding the gold and silver.
I love finding toys. This year I have found 22 hot wheels cars in the sand. Good luck on your next trip out....Matt
