The Potato Field - Day 3 - Finished - Moved to the Roman Site nearby...

It took Cru'dad & I a little longer than I expected to grid the rest of the available field. (just short of 3 hours) Lots of buttons again, but not the 1 hammered we hoped for. We then did 2.5 hours on the nearby 'hunted out' Roman Site & managed 4 Roman Coins & the worst burnt sixpence I've seen!
So 5.5 hours total;

2 Neolithic Flints, the left one Cru'dad found, probably the best find of the day. To big for an arrow & a bit small for a spear.
2 Lead Cloth Seals
4 Roman Coins
Bits...

For Sept this feels like pay-back for a flying start or we are building for the big one!

Could be because the stone age people didn't read the books how big or small to knap their flint. Nice worked piece!

It is odd to have over 30,000 acres, 46 discovered Roman Sites & still no-where to go! So in answer to your question, I have no idea, other than I set Cru'dad on the case.
Plus we are hoping for 2 new permissions to come on-line soon due to Land-Mag's hard work. We need these new researched sites to produce something good!

Honestly, flints is a subject I have limited research in, so I'm none the wiser.
