As we had a mid-morning yearly meeting with one of the land-owners (show/tell/share), we only did a quick 30 minutes on some grass & stubble - getting 3 buttons!
After the Mtg/Lunch we returned to The Potato Field which was in perfect condition, lovely & dry on top, wet underneath.
Our target for the day was 1 hammered. (I had given up hope but got it on the 2nd to last run)
3.5 hours gridding produced the following:

17th C Button
2 Livery Buttons (1 new type of the collection)
Nice Medieval Thimble (decorated in a way I haven't seen)
18th C Sword Belt Fitment
Pewter Whistle
Decorated Lead Medieval Spindal Whorl
3 Lead Tokens
18th C Token
Rose Farthing
Jetton
Qrter Hammered of Henry III - Keeps our hammered Streak alive!

Me too I would not come back great saves and great for you to take the time to share all those

Love that thimble and whistle, how old is the whistle?

wow that hammered piece is absolutely minute! I think there's no way I'd catch that swinging in a farm field!

I'm not a slow swinger but as a team we are systematic gridders, so that helps.

I always wonder how the design of finds match even in medieval times. Otherwise it looks like the spindle whorl design is one of the common ones.
Congrats on the hammered! Love the Livery buttons.

Well done, congrats! :occasion14:

Beautiful finds! Keep up the good work !!
