The Rain Finally Stopped And The Silver Streak Is Going Again

I met up with Taylor today to hit some yards. He drove directly from Colorado to the first site that I had lined up for us to detect. I managed to get 4 silver coins under my search coil and 13 wheat pennies. Taylor got 2 silver coins, a small ring and a bunch of wheat pennies This was my 31st hunt for the year and my grand total is now at 96 silver coins for the year. I've managed to get a silver coin on every hunt. I haven't been skunked once. Just 4 more mo go!

Thanks. We got pounded again last night with more heavy rain. I decided to take the day off from detecting even though the rain has stopped. I'm tired of the mud and mess. Digging holes that fill up with water ain't much fun.

Still killin' the silver I see.
I need to find a few sites like that. Silver coins are a rare find in these parts. I have no idea why but I'm digging hundreds of old coins but very little silver ones. It's usually old pennies and nickels. There's been plenty of silver and gold jewelry so I really can't complain.

I'm just hoping to change that ratio soon.
