i need a little help evaluating a 1786 silver coin the inscriptions are ; on the "head " side reads, carolus.III dei.grata these inscriptions surround the left facing bust. the details are very good but there is wear from use. on the "tail side" are two towers surrounding a sheild and on the sheild there are to lions on their hind legs facing left. and also in the sheild there are two castles .above the sheild is a crown .the inscription read .HISPAN.ETIND.REX. M( ABOVE THE M IS THE LETTER O). 2.R.F.M. apparently it'sa hispanic coin ( spain)? has anyone come across a coin such as this and does anyone know the value of this coin . the size is between a quarter and a fifty cent coin.
