Hello again friends

I decided to post all the pictures of detections that occurred in the area where it was discovered roman seal ring...I had several trips to metaldetecting the good friend that I was a history professor Paul area , where all the artifacts were found , and another good friend named Eric...We found several objects together such as spears, brooches, one half of ancient bronze coins, spurs, many arrows from all times and all fragments of the sword handle, roman bronze and copper rings, pieces of armor, knives , buckles, all the ancient roman and medieval...

I'm impressed .... the ferrous finds in their countries are much better than here ... only iron nails here.

Spears, spurs, personal items and more, could this be the result of some previously unknown battle perhaps

How big is the area these finds were found in, 10 acres? 100 acres?? More??

I'm imagining a huge spread out battlefield; could it be you've only found the tip of the 'iceberg'......FANTASTIC!!!!

I'm not sure but I think somewhere in the 400 years old...
Archaeologists in the period ahead will determine exactly how old are...

I am jealous! You have some wonderful artifacts and a beautiful place to hunt as seen in your pictures. I would love a chance to hunt for relics that old someday. I look forward to more pictures and new finds.
