* The suger sand gives up some more WW1 treats

[panzermeyer]

Hello enthusiests ! Made it down to my favorite site on the weekend for a relaxing hunt .Only had 5 hours so I had to make the most of it.I was pleased to pull up 2 cap badges , 2 shoulder badges , 2 Infantry epulet badges and numbered collar badge. Also nabbed a suspender clip and Peters Marlin .23-.20 shell casing. After sleeping in the dark soil for over 90 years they can now join the collection.I bet the soldiers would never have imagined in their wildest dreams that someday someone would be recovering the items they tossed or lost.I;m just glad I can show them the respect they deserved for fighting in one of the bloodiest wars this earth has ever seen.I hope to get in atleast 1 more hunt before the frost puts an end to the season.God Bless and HH...Panz

Good stuff...you must have quite a large collection by now. Can you post a pic of your entire collection? I would be very interested in seeing that. Keep at it!
