You mean no one on this forum has ever used the Tesors Lobo Super Trac in Virginia. Well then what kind of performance does it get in highly minerlized soil??????

The LST does well in highly iron mineralised ground, the disc mode is not good in hot ground but is fair in light to moderate ground. The detector is VLF.TR and as such is like any other vlf in hot ground.
The All Metal mode has excellent auto Ground balance. It is very good on small gold nuggets and chains. With carefull use of the ground mineral selector the detector can be made to operate in a wide range of ground conditions.

in the hot red soil of Virginia. I was thinking about using it down there in Virginia in the DIV hunts. Does anyone have any experience with the new Texoro lobo super trach there?

I have years of experience in extremely mineralized (red) soil, in the goldfields of Arizona. Use the all metal mode with little or no discrimination, sensitivity as high as the soil will allow, threshold at a mosquito hum, re ground balance every 10-15 minutes. The auto ground tracking and balancing is superior, and if the gold is at least the size of a piece of lead shot - you will hear it up to 7" deep. - Terry
