My brother-in-law , Dave's, youngest (#4) son had started taking his first steps . It was time , at a family gathering , to administer 'The Test' to see what his life potential might be .
A silver dollar , glass of whiskey , and a bible were arranged on a low table within Jeff's reach .
Ostensably ; choosing the coin would mean that he would become a business man , reaching for the
whiskey would indicate that alcohol could become a problem in his life , picking up the bible would tell us he had a bent for the clergy .
Little Jeff toddled up to the table as we all watched . He studied the layout and made his decision ....
Stuck the silver dollar down in his diaper , downed the glass of whiskey , and tucked the bible under
his arm .........
