Went out this morning but the thunder and lightening chased me away after a bit. I was busy digging before that.

Yes, walking around on Florida's beaches with 2 metal rods during a thunderstorm wouldn't be real smart Lighting can strike miles from a storm off shore too..

Yes it does Mark, especially when ya look up and black clouds to the north and black clouds to the south. I turned and looked west and said, what the heck it is black to the west. I was parked to the east, thank god no black clouds so took off as fast as I could for the Jeep. It all came up really fast, but hey that is Florida for ya. I am use to it so it does not bother me. I was parked close by anyway.

You bet T.H. Especially when there were the 5 people hit over here on the beaches in Southwest FL 2-3 weeks ago. All within 2 weeks.

I hear ya Mark. I was lucky the parking lot was so close and that I wasn’t out that long before the thunder started.
