Yesterday I was out & about on the boat & before coming in stopped at a site to look for some indian Artifacts.Did find a few as this site is on a small island not much bigger then a football field. Also solved a question I had in the back of my mind about a jaw piece from anther site I hit now & then that has produced a bison skull cap couple years ago & now can say for sure also gave up a Dire wolf lower Jaw.I knew the Jaw piece was either bear or wolf but after finding the bear skull from the site yesterday & compareing the two side by side then looking up Dire Wolf jaw there's no doulbt what it is.The bear skull most likely was from a bear that died during the hurricane we just had drowned as the little island is quite a bit aways from any land otherwise. The site these older bones are coming from are full of bones & teeth just had not been paying much mind to them but I think the next time to that site I will after seeing what some of these things sell for. :o

Fascinating stuff! Looking forward to seeing & hearing about your future finds too. Andi

WOW!I cant say I have ever seen one Pete!Thats awesome, some definite age on it.I found a jaw bone sticking out of a Clay bank in Montana back in the day that looked like a bear jaw just a lot bigger....come to find out it was from a Prehistoric Cave Bear!!!!

T k, I thought I was the only one that saves weird stuff! This one was 350 lbs. With all the remnants you are finding, the good stuff is lurking in there somewhere!!! God Bless HH Chris
