The turkeys have brought out the children

We haven't seen the turkeys much - today, they have come back - with all their babies (they are half-grown already).

There are 3 females, as best as I can tell. One is very shy, and went around the other way - but only a few of her babies went with her - they met around the other side of the abandoned house.

I wished it hadn't been drizzling - I think the pictures would be better

The Mrs. and I have driven down a dirt road and many times slowed down in awe of a mother turkey leading her dozen youngins. We watched as they grew bigger. Then one day it was about a week from Thanksgiving. We stopped taking that road and eventually had a real nice holiday.
