The UK has record rain full, is this good news for prospectors?

Apparently the UK has just had the wettest year on record, out island is totally at saturation point, water will soon be bubbling back up. We are also told that the rain full will continue to increase over the years.

My thought is that this has to be good news for prospectors in the UK, more Gold is likely to be washed out.
