Because of winter I've recently learned that the dog has three distinct gallops.
A food gallop.
A poop gallop.
A snoop gallop.

This is knowledge I wouldn't have otherwise recognized had it not been for winter. If knowledge is power then I'm going to be a genius when winter is over!

What has winter taught you?

Sub zero temperatures decrease tire pressure to the point you think you have a flat. Small dogs don't like to take a dump in deep snow.

I know that winter here... makes the beaches less crowded.
Winter has taught me....
my pups are spoiled rotten... they hate cold too...
they run out and do their biz ... then run back in.

It taught me a few things -

objects kept outside break easily
Frozen ground is 100% useless
water pipes freeze and stain ceilings
my furnace needs replacing

Staring contest. Now I know how and why they got started.

I learned that nothing good is on the Opra channel, looking out the window doesn't thaw ground, apparently the sun is only in my imagination!...........and finally I really need to move:BangHead::icon_scratch::laughing7:

On a brighter note, I finally know what ingredients are inside a box of yellow zonkers

I get to improve on my famous chili recipe again! And again, and again, and again......

I leaned that life is good in southern Virginia. Going detecting tomorrow. steve

Few hunters dont mean more targets. While its snowing up North.... its sanding down South. Dogs are really in charge.

Winter has lower tides.
When I can't feel my hands anymore it's time to leave.
Now that my insulated waders leak. the rubber spare ones really let the cold in.
