Saw the Zombies in 1965-they were a really good live band with their jazz influenced off beat interplay. Argent knew how to get the most out of that VOX Continental organ, with Grundy's drums and Whites bass carrying a solid beat, and Atkinson's tasteful guitar fills, were perfect for Blunstones's breathless vocals.
The Zombies were a tight talented band that influenced many American garage bands.
Other songs of note are "Tell Her No", "I Want You Back Again", and "I Remember When I Loved Her".
These recordings were done on a 4-track reel to reel with minimal overdubs.
