Theodore Roosevelt Assorted Cartridges and items

Hi, I’m new to the Forum. I own a piece of property formally owned by Theodore Roosevelt.
A friend of mine gave me a metal detector and I’ve been finding so many exciting things. Saw blades, shotgun shells, military rounds, 45/90’s Krags. Any advice on what else to look for?

Welcome to the site!! Krag was 30-40 with a necked cartridge. 45-90 was an "express" cartridge for big game. Nothing specific to look for really, whatever the detector beeps on. Somebody owned that property before and after Teddy so what you find there may or may not have been used or lost by him.

Thanks for the info. All of the cartridges I’ve found were manufactured during the years he lived here.
Also the types of bullets coincide with his favorite firearms. I’ll keep searching! Thanks again.

TR was known to have used a .405 Winchester at times.Would be really nice if you found one of those.Great finds!
