Yeah Cleveland and the burbs expecially are hard nosed about it. Well you got all the goody richies there. Come my way all kinds of friendly places to go. Meet a guy the other day from seville in the school Across from my house MDing was really helpful to a novice like me.

Anyone I encounter, that has such a mental conception ..... I avoid such lookie-lous. The less they see of me, the better. So peaceful. So serene. Just make note of their work hours, and ..... presto, problem solved :)

The bad thing for us here in the Cleve. area is, the Metro park system has taken over almost ALL of the beaches. They "allow" metal detecting from the day after Labor day to memorial day- with a permit of course...Rangers are severely anal about it too! I told a passer-by this & he said "what's the harm"? -EXACTLY.

I never ran into any trouble here in North east Ohio... I don't hunt many parks.. mostly private home sites and woods hunting

That sign is a marketing nightmare.

permits are about $$$ money -- seasons are about "control" -- its all about "control and tax" the people
