My guess is from a necklace pendant. What do y’all think?

That thing is toasty! I'm guessing "Our Lady of the Rosary". No idea about the other side...

Definitely a fairly modern silver medalion but I think the corrosion makes it cooler because now it looks like a shipwreck coin.
