ok, I'm old so my memory is more and more selective but my mother did give me some good advice
for example "don't sleep with someone you would not marry" (obviously pre '60s and pre the pill)
but she failed to tell me what to look for

You don't think Russian women are tough? We teach our girls to twirl batons. With rubber caps on each end. That was impressive.

that was exactly my thought, and why I posted

edit: Jeff, don't be insecure - you can go to sleep - really . . . .

edit: and there is a bit more to this song and dance,
it is a folk dance of the Cossacks and done by young and old, men and women - a cultural thing

yes, we have the ubiquitous cheerleaders - and big ones also

kot, in the US we have no genuine folk dancing as it was imported from Europe; it is interesting to see such in its environment
(ok guys, yes the banjo is a folk instrument, but not so much for dancing)

I will not mention the native Americans that are no longer here.

Billa look in youtube Украинский танец "Гопак". Балет Игоря Моисеева. Folk Ukrainian dance with elements Ukrainian martial arts
