after hunting for about 10 years i think i found some pottery

Yes you did! and it looks to be very early. Break a piece and see what they used to temper it with, probably lime stone or grit which would predate shell. Was the arrowhead found with it? Don`t know if it fits the time frame of the pottery but maybe so.
Arrowhead shows impact fracture to tip, maybe from impact to bone, tree or some other hard substance. Good Finds!

thanks Rege-PA yes the arrowhead was found near it.i was thinking about breaking the small one to see what its made with,i will when it dries up a little.i also thought maybe real early too.

You don't have to break one to see what it was made with, just use a magnifier glass and look at the sides. From your photo I can see small white specks which would say they used shell to me. Great finds and pottery is an artifact ,I keep a lot of it.
