The other night I went back to the same spot I've been hitting, that produced my first 2 silver coins. I've been going back over the same areas I've already covered because I know there is always something to be missed. Sure enough, my first good signal was my 3rd silver quarter. It was only a Washington, a 1936, but a welcome sight nonetheless! After getting that silver fever I kept on trucking but had no more luck in that department. However I did find another coal scrip token from Consolidated Coal Company identical to one I dug a few blocks away, a 1935 German coin (I googled it but quickly forgot the name), a 1938 rabies vaccination tag, a small buckle, and what appears to be a knob or latch from a cabinet or door. The back side of the latch is engraved "S & Company". It looks to be quite old but is in quite good condition. Not my most exciting hunt but....wait, what am I saying
Every hunt is exciting!
