I hope some one can help me finding what would be a good price on these ashtrays. They were made and sold by Houze Art and they have the train eng on them.I found other ashtrays with chess pieces on them but no train any where. These seem to sell pretty good so I am at a lose on priceing them .I gave 8.00 for the set

I did an ebay search on "houze art ashtray". There are several ashtrays by this company with a similar shape and various themes. Of the ones that sold, they all seemed to be in the $5 - $20 range. Railroad stuff is always popular and yours seem to be in very nice condition. If they were mine, I think I would start them as an auction at $20 each and see how much interest they get. I think you should be able to get at least $10 each for them. Good score at $2 each methinks!

If these end up selling for more than $5 each on ebay I will be totally shocked.

ok thanks for all the help,I had looked every where I have axcess to and could find nun with the train on it just wondered if anyone else did.

When in doubt I always start high and then lower it down until they start receiving interest. I'd try what Tallone said. I can easily see someone paying double what you did.. just because of the subject matter.
