✅ SOLVED This an old tool of some type?

Found in field area of old cellar hole site in central Mass.,not sure if a tool but end with square plug must have been used for something?

It is a bung hole wrench, it is made to take out and tighten the plug on steel drums (oil drums, etc), look it up it is common.

I'm thinking an old water valve key of some kind?? or what Ant says, because he beat me to the reply.

I agree with Ant. That is a universal bung wrench.
