This Happen to Anyone Else?

This has happened at least once every time I am at the beach. Is this just a South FloriDUH phenomenon? Okay here goes- i am walking down the beach swinging my MD. It is still early, the beach isn't crowded but you have the early morning joggers, walkers, and sea shell hunters. I am walking slow and swinging my MD from side to side, ya know how we do it , and a person will almost walk right into you! Or they walk so close that you hit them with your MD!! I know for a fact that these brain dead people see me coming a mile away too. If this only happened a few times i would just shrug it off but it has happened a lot. I have even had to say something to a few people because it royally pisses me off!

Since I am at armpit level to most of the population, I am regularly nearly run over or into by people who just don't seem to see me, at the beach, in malls, and on crowded sidewalks.

Lived in Miami for 5yrs., just plain rude *******s! Tuff to be a nice guy, it really wears on you down here. I try to rationalize the issue, but it is very overwhelming. I lived and visited a lot of places and cities and Miami is the worst bar none! It is a fight everyday. Have since moved 30 miles north and found a huge relief. It is a shame that is what it comes too. Moving to keep from killing someone beautiful place with some of the most rude people ever!

I live 30 miles north too. Big difference. I am a really nice guy and try so hard to see good in people. I think that makes it harder to deal with the twits. I was just making an observation here about my experience. Truth is I meet ALOT more nice people than rude ones but as you know south Florida is full of rude ones. I have nothing against French Canadians. I like to joke around. There are a few uptight people here. That is fine. I am the furthest you can be from a racist. My wife is Puerto Rican for crying out loud!! Again, I like to joke around and I appreciate you guys that do in fact have a sense of humor. Ya know who ya are. See my Gawkers thread.... Oh boy.
