This is good advice for the Minelab dealers selling Sovereign GT's and some other detectors and all the accessories. Don't forget when selling inline probes and meters for the Sov. GT that sometimes a Coiltek 12" or 50" extention cable is needed to properly connect everything together. Some times you need to tell the customer he or she could use the extra part. This goes for other accessories too, like smaller coils.

I get emails asking me these things and I am not a dealer and never was. I used to work in a shop for fun, but had to quit cause I bought the place out of detectors.

very good advice sandman. That way when your shipment arrives you can actually use it.
Would this apply to the hipmount setup for GT?

Re: This is for the Minelab dealers selling Sov GT's and accessories.

Both. The use of an inline Sunray probe calls for a 12 extension cable to reach the control box under the arm rest, and a 50 cable if hip mounting it. If you use a meter too, you don't need the extension cables as the meter has it's own long cable for hip mounting. Dealers should know their products and be able to suggest "add on" accessories.
