My wife worked for a mental health office. She said some of her clients would brag about how they would share information with each other on what to say to the psyc drs. so they could then take those results to the SS office to start getting their checks. Then they just buy drugs and become unemployable and completely dependent upon the taxpayers for life. That's today's America.

This is only the tip of the iceberg on abuse of our social programs. If we could/would do away with it, this country would be fine. Just one of the many cases I'm aware of involved a guy and his girlfriend. She had been in a car accident and got on SSDI. It was legitimate I guess but she was capable of working but elected not to because the SS was "free". She would play it up for the doctors and I guess they finally put her on it permanently. The real abuse involved her boyfriend. He also got a check every month for "taking care" of her. They didn't marry because he would lose his check. Then he got busted for selling drugs and went to prison for about a year and a half. You guessed it; he continued getting his check although he wasn't taking care of her. The abuse is rampant and acceptable across this country, the more you can suck out of her the better.

You are right just tip of the iceburg! A guy I work with has custody of his grandson, the kid was a drug baby so as a result is messed up. He is paid to take care of the kid and his wife has gone on disability as she could not find a job because of her reputation in the industry. I for one am sick of paying for these dead beats.....!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welfare office doesn't want to hear about fraud. It makes it look like they don't know how to do their jobs (go figure) and besides, the more people that "need" welfare the more their jobs are justified.
