My wife found this yesterday on Daytona Beach behind a bandstand. It almost made her deaf! ;D It has to be the most 'Bling' I have ever seen on a religious medal. It has 'diamonds', praying hands, crucifix, the Last Supper relief, Jesus relief and more 'diamonds'. Did I say it had 'diamonds'? We were speechless. Though it is real as a religious medal there is no indication that the 'gold' colored metal is gold and that the 'diamonds' are diamonds. Too bad it's monetary value didn't add up to the bling.

Nonetheless, it's a great piece for show and tell.

It sure looks good.

Nice find. :icon_thumleft:

WOW - that is definitely some bling!

Just because it is not marked, I would not assume it is not real gold. It could be custom made and just not stamped. Have you tested it, or taken it to a jeweler to have it tested?

If it is really heavy like you say, then it could very well be gold.

Nice work...I am still looking for my mariner cross this year...

I have a lady friend who works in a jewelry store here in town send it up to me she will test it for free ::) :laughing7: Nice find :icon_thumright: HH Jim

It could be my eyes playing tricks on me but are there letters where I've circled?

I too see a couple lil letters ---dat be a makers mark? -- if so might be a "custom job" and legit.

Appears to be a 'special' made gift for a nun to wear with her habit or even a priest to wear.Probably from a family member. What are the dimentions?
