Found a old house I've passed for years going to my brothers house over the past 25 years. I was on my was out to hos place today to upgrade his kitchen fauc

et. (I'm a plumber👍) when I noticed the house was demolished. I stopped on my way home. 45mins and this is what I pull out of the ground. I'm still in awe!

Looks like a nice find and I'm with the rest as far as wondering what it is. Desk nameplate ? Grave Marker ? Front porch nameplate ? It could really be any of them.

Its a desk name plate from I can tell. There are legs on the back side that support it at just the right angle. I've researched Major Smith with no luck yet. I found it in Alva, lee county Florida. I'm in the in the prosses of restoring it to its original state. In Hope's to return it to Ralph him self or a family member.
