I found what I believe was a cast iron leg off of something and a brass harness rivet. Also an axle. Not sure what it was on originally. It is 63” long (allowing for slight bend) each spindle is 5-3/4” from the first bearing journal on each end. The shaft is 1”, but is not square. 3 sides are flat, the 4th side has a slightly rounded face. Looks like it was used to tighten fence wire. I’ve seen this repurposed use several times: waste not, want not.
I also found another tire valve stem hex base (Schrader?).

Or that's what's left of the axle after going through the wire fence.🤣
