My eyes are not what they used to be but I did see 14K
As the heart raced, I needed to confirm so upon closer inspection. 14KTGE ESPO.
Arrrggghhhhh
But on the plus side, the aquamarine gem is beautiful. Even though it was about 6 inches deep, There is not a scratch on it so I will be taking this 10x14 gem and remounting it on a sterling ring. It is just too beautiful to display it in a box. (My wife agreed lol)
Does this still count as a gold find?

GE - for those who know not - is gold electro plate
Most of us on the beach & water forum would not count it as a gold find
But to each his/her own - still I would rather find a ring like that ..than no ring at all

Nice job nd! I like your thinking on the remount!

That would sure make the wife happy
