This one traveled over 7,000 miles to be left behind! Is that date 1990-1310?

My first coin from Kuwait. Found in the Coinverion machine at Publix. I did a "Measure distance" option on Google Earth from the found location to Kuwait. I'm sure some of you have found coins from further away, but a new record for me I think.

It's a standard circulating coin with a face value of 50 'fils'.
Compositon of copper-nickel, 4.5 g and about 23 mm in diameter.
An unusual and interesting coin to be found in the States--for sure.

I looked up one time how far a piece of jewelry came from where it was originally made. It was found in the Denver, Colo area and came from Pajala, Sweden and was made by the Sami people. A distance of roughly 4567 miles from where I found it.

The dates shown are 1995-1415 pursuant to the Islamic calendar (Hijri).
The Islamic (Hijri) date of 1415 is the same as 'our' 1995.
