This Was A First For Me Today!! I'm Having A Very Good Run!!

The first bank that I stopped at I traded $150.00 in rolled dimes for the same amount and found 1 silver Rosie. This bank also sold me 20 Ikes. I thought what a great day but it was about to get even better.

Next bank I bought $70.00 in dimes and found 1 silver Rosie.

The thrid bank I bought $200.00 in dimes and found 3 silver Rosies.

The fourth bank I bought $200.00 in dimes and found 2 silver Rosies.

The fifth bank I stopped at, (one that I frequent often) I asked what coins do you have available today. The teller showed me 6 Ikes and I bought them. Then he said he had $3.50 in halves which produced 1-1964 halve and 1-40% silver halve. Then he had 3 rolls of dimes available so I bought them. One roll had 18 silver Rosies, the second roll had 25 silver Rosies and third had none. This was the first time I have ever purchased rolls of dimes and found large quantities of silver Rosie in several rolls! I couldn't believe my eyes!

I also stoppped at my regular bank to dump coins and I bought $100.00 in quarters which was a skunk, $24.00 in nickels skunk again, and $70.00 in dimes again skunk. I also picked up one roll of halves which produced a 1958 Franklin, 1964 halve and 1-40% silver halve.

What a day!!!!

Total of :o

50 Silver Rosies
2-1964 halves
1-Franklin
2-40% Silver halves
26 Ikes

Wow, great haul PW! You may have found the dime cache of the year. Congrats on all the goodies. Were any of those Ikes 1973?

Also check for 77P; as they were the lowest minted Ike that was released for general circulation

Thanks everyone. ;D

Xtreme, I asked for all the coin rolls this bank could spare and bought everything, dimes, nickels and pennies. They didn't have any quarters.

TXTim, they were hand rolled in paper wrappers and they looked like they were older wrappers.

Thurm, LOL @ "dime ens" !!! That's a good one, I really like that! ;D I checked all the dates and I didn't get any 1977P, only one 1977D Ike.
