So last weekend was epic with gold and silver. This weekend not so much. A toasty Indian and Buffalo and a few wheats and clad. The chain is interesting. Any ideas? The lead ingot with the arrow was also interesting (and heavy). Bob got a nice old bullet and a nice suspender button thing too. I guess all weekends are not created equal! Hope you all have a great week!

Interesting arrow piece! Is the bullet civil war?
I thought the arrow piece was a silver ingot when I found it. 😄. I don't know about the bullet. They had a CW encampment in the park back in the day but we have found almost nothing to prove it. There was (and is) a lot of shooting going on in this park. We have found a TON of various bullets.

Does it have solid base? If you get the length , diameter, and weight in grams I could look it up for you.

That's a fun collection of finds. I'm entering my 10th year of detecting, and I'm finding that these days I enjoy uncovering relics as much as digging old coins. Congrats!

So true! Already amassing a horde of relics here! 😄

Thank you!! The bottom is solid with a very slight concave. It is 17.3mm long, 10.5 mm across and weighs 14 grams.

Are there 2 rings hard to tell with the dirt?

I found this exact design is still being made but now the back is nylon and the tack is aluminum. I was shocked. Timeless design!
