Ok, so i was sitting and going over my coins with my youngest.. he was digging with me so the 3 center I dug this weekend is "1/2 his" since he helped dig it... as I was informed by him!! He wanted to see the others and honestly I didn't remember how many I have dug.. so we got them out and set them all up together to get pictures. he wanted me to post them. Also, I included my one nickel 3 cent piece since one was just posted this week. Soo.. here they all are.

Yep, dug them all.. I have found them with White's 5900, 6000, Spectrum and a DFX. I don;t really have a set ID that they have been targeted as.. great thing about relic hunting.. if it beeps dig it!. The one I dug this week end was 4 to 5" deep and gave a so so signal.. but we had just dug 4 flat buttons in the area that day and I had found 18 or 20 close by before.. so i was digging it all. Ironically, I was explaining to my 11 year old, he had his Prizm IV, that with the number of buttons we had found that it was about time to dig some good coins and then BAM.. there it was!!! I love digging these.. being so small.. they are hard coins to get at any depth!!

HA, thanks!! Keep hunting they are out there. When I dug the first one in a Civil War camp.. I gave up and filled in the hole because the signal "disappeared".. but it bug me too much so I went back and dug it out again. I think if they get turned sideways.. they are almost impossible to pick up.

My youngest wanted to help me post them.. he kept trying to move the coins around while I was shooting them.. and he kept wanting to she "his" coin.. since he dug it!!! Guess I have to give it to him when he is older and now he wants his own machine!! A 7 year old with a detector... watch out!!! ;-)

So that's what silver looks like???? Really nice find.

I'll find some this year. I'm a newbie with an F2. do you think it will findit?

Very cool. I wouldn't mind finding a few 3-center's

very nice,
i've found two of them here in the UK.
they are seriously small coins.

Great hunt it looks like and well done.

love the coin , one on my list, i"ve never seen one in person so just what is the size of it ? i'm hearing everyone say how small they are, in comparison to a half dime where are they? :icon_scratch:. great finds by the way and sounds like you have a future (present)teasure hunter there. congrates. thanks
