You`ll probably notice I changed my screen name so everyone can stop wondering what my name is!
Thursday I went back to clean up the old church where I found all the Barbers, sure glad I did as I found an awesome skeleton key! It was down about four
inches and gave off a solid 19 signal, which I hardly ever dig, as its almost always junk. Gotta keep telling myself to dig it all at these old places!
Awhile later I had a jumpy 23-26 which I figures was gonna be a wheat penny, I was right, but very surprised to see a Mercury dime stuck to it when it
rolled out of the plug!
Friday I drove 210 miles over to Wisconsin to go to an event I attend every year, naturally I found an old park in the town and decided to give it a go,
it took about an hour and a half, when I was approaching an old tree and got a solid 28, once I dug the plug, there sat a beautifull little Merc at the bottom
of the hole!
Saturday we got home late around six or so and I decided to see if I could reach the guy at a house I been trying to get for over a month, this time he was home
and after talking a bit got the permission I been seeking!
I decided to start right away even tho it was gonna be dark in an hour, and within 20 minutes I got a silver Rosy to pop out, not 15 minutes later I got a good solid
26-28 signal and when I got the plug out another silver rim was staring at me. After cleaning it off I saw it was another Barber!
Went back today to clean up and after three hours got a screaming 32-34 and dug a wide plug hoping for another silver quarter, I was right again as I saw
right away it was another SLQ sitting right in the middle of the plug, my third this year!!
This puts me at 64 silvers for the year!!
The only downer of the weekend was I couldn`t hardly buy a wheat, only got three all weekend, and one was from my change I got back at Hardees!
Also got another Chinese coin and Captain Midnight Flight Patrol pin, found out its from the 40`s.
