:icon_pirat: Hi! I wonder how many MPH were the aircraft flying when the photos were taken...those shots are great, im going to look for a pic I took of a B2 doing a low flyover and post it in this thread if I can find it,thank for sharing the photos...

This tribute to the Gray Eagles (WWII pilots) was in conjunction with an air show in Ohio called "The Final Roundup."

It was the last large gathering of the remaining P-51 Mustang fighters used during WWII. There were about 120 of the fighters there all of them in flying condition, of course.

The fly-over seen at the end of the video is composed entirely of P51's spelling out the number 51.

..........I couldn't get the P51 video to work.

Anyway, here's another pic.

Would you like to mess with this gun:

Some pics I took this year... these planes were for an airshow but staged at the aviation company I work for now... so I was able to walk around at me leisure and take pics.

Thanks for sharing them with us.

first time i saw an A-10 i was at the top of a box canyon up in the globe. az. area...
no one ever went there...extreme terrain. almost 80 % grade to the slope....the mouth of the canyon opened into another canyon every bit as nasty.

i hear this airfoil cutting through the narrow mouth, and turn my head in time to see, pull here in case of emergency sticker below the cockpit.

WOW....that bad boy snuck up on me, and was DOWN through the canyon, up the next canyon and GONE, before the jet noise hit me...
if he had his gear down he could have left tire prints on the hillside...
i swear that pilot was smiling.
