Those Reminders

Went back to Indiana for 11 days to do some deer hunting and during my first few days it was really nice, 60's, sunny, some remaining fall colors, and I have to say that I was actually questioning my recent move to Florida. Then came Wed & Thur, sitting in my tree stand, temps dropping into the upper 20's and low 30's both evenings and a 30mph wind with drizzle slamming through my hunting clothes. Thanks to Wed & Thur I was no longer questioning the move to Florida. :laughing7:

No deer this trip. Saw a lot of them, just nothing worth the trouble. The mental aspect of it all is kind of funny. If the weather is nice you don't mind go through all the motions that follow shooting the deer. But, when the weather is cold and you're freezing your butt off, you think to yourself,......"Not a chance! I just want to get back to a warm truck without all these complications!" :laughing7:
