Thought I found the one I was looking for

Most of us hope to find that certain coin that may have some value. I was water hunting today and found a mercury dime no big deal right. Slip it in my pocket and finish out the day. As I was packing up I figured I would glance at the date, but with my eyesight you never know unless I get the loupe out which I leave at the car. Boy was I surprised to see 1916 on that dime. i'm thinking I may have found it, but with a flip of the coin I see the Letter D is not there, but boy was the thought fun for a moment.

I found 2 1916 merc. one I can't make out the mint mark and the other wasn't the one.
