Thought it was a Large Copper But Its Not. Help

Thought it was a Large Copper But It's Not. Help

I dug this at the front door of a home built
in 1760. I really have no idea what it is.
It measures 37 mm and weighs .99 oz..
It has a beautiful green patina on one side.
It looks to be hand hammered.
That is all I know. Thanks for any help!

Maybe an old headlight pull knob? How big is it?

I guess it could be, but doesn't look like any room to get your

Location where u found it might give a clue could be top of tea pot lid thats been broken off!
