Thoughts about listing bad/blocked buyers here?

Would it be ethical if we were to share with each other who we block and why? Would this be against any eBay rules? Thoughts

I don't see why not. If someone makes purchases on the bay, their username is in the public domain.

Bad idea, you could be sued for slander or some other technicality. Got to be careful what you say these days, expecially on the net. HH

Thought this many times. I think the issues are:

1. Too many ebay users to put a dent in it
2. Most of the customers with which we've had difficulty have been first time or very infrequent shoppers
3. A customer who had a bad experience with my company might turn out to be your next super repeat customer. If you block her based on my say - so you could lose out.
4. I don't trust people to limit the list to the real loons and crackpots.

Paladin raises an interesting point. It would be a hard case to win in NJ, but that doesn't mean someone wouldn't file it.

Great minds think alike. I'm waiting on some pos myself to list something.


I agree with randazzo though, too many factors involved to make it worthy as a "go to" list for deadbeats.
