Blade is really thin. Homemade? I couldn't find any marks on it

Mid to late 1800's IMO... err possibly.

And into early 1900s. I have a few similar knives here along with steels of the same style. Yours has been repaired. There would have been a bolster between the blade and stag handle..sometimes made of silver, some with nickel silver, some in brass. The bolster would resemble a thimble in shape with slot for blade tang. Decorations if any appeared here. Most were simple like the blade.

Well worn commercial English (?) offering would be my guess.
The area that would see a smooth ferrule in other offering has "rings" molded that also appear in some smaller tableware.

Possibly , your knife is from a carving set.

"Warranted" is stamped on many . And means different things than today.

Couple of shots:

Thanks a lot for the info guys. Cleared up a lot of questions I had about it

Looks like the slicer from an old carving set. They usually had a knife, and serving fork. Many were made in Sheffield, England and imported to the US. Sometimes the ferrule ( the little piece between the handle and blade) was made of Sterling silver and so marked. The rest were made from nickel silver.
